N° 02Spec / Source / Supply
Natural oils & ingredients, for recurring bulk supply.
A B2B sourcing capability for food processors, food and beverage brands, and cosmetic and personal-care manufacturers that need oils and ingredients to a defined specification on a recurring basis. GALCO qualifies the requirement, works with independent producers and suppliers, and coordinates documentation, samples and supply.

01Scope
Specified oils and ingredients for ongoing production.
Built around recurring programs rather than one-off purchases. We do not publish standing inventory or price lists.
- 01
Food processing & manufacturing
Oils and ingredients used in production — frying, baking, dressings, sauces or as a formulation input — where consistency from lot to lot matters.
- 02
Food & beverage brands
Specified oils for brands that bottle, blend or co-pack, including backup or secondary sources alongside existing supply.
- 03
Cosmetic & personal care
Carrier and botanical oils and ingredients for skin, hair and personal-care formulations, sourced to the grade and documentation the formulation needs.
- 04
Recurring supply programs
Supply set up around a forecast and shipment frequency, with documentation expectations agreed before the first lot ships.
02Sourcing parameters

Tell us
- What the oil or ingredient goes into, and how it is used in your process
- The grade it must meet, such as food grade or cosmetic grade
- Any regulatory, customer or internal standards that apply

Ingredient or oil specification
Tell us
- The oil or ingredient, and whether refined or unrefined
- Processing method preferences (e.g. cold-pressed, expeller-pressed)
- Origin preferences and the analytical parameters you test against
- P-03
Quality documentation
Tell us
- Certificates of analysis per lot, where applicable
- Specification sheets and allergen, origin or other declarations
- Food-safety or other certifications your QA team requires of the producing site

- How often you need shipments and how much forecast flexibility you need
- P-05
Destination, timing & commercial requirements
Tell us
- Delivery location and any receiving constraints

05Qualification
How GALCO evaluates a sourcing requirement.
Every requirement is assessed on its own terms before anything is committed. GALCO coordinates independent manufacturing and supply partners — we do not own factories — so qualifying the right partner for your job is the core of the work.
Assessment
A requirement under review. We check fit, ask questions and identify possible partners. Nothing is promised at this stage.
Verification
The checks that matter for a specific job are complete — specification confirmed, documents reviewed, samples approved, terms agreed. Only then is a path committed.
Not every partner is pre-approved for every requirement, and not every requirement will be a fit. If it isn’t, we will say so.
- 01
Specification fit
Can the requirement be met as written? We confirm materials, grade, construction and anything still open with you before looking for a match.
- 02
Supplier capability
Does a partner have the equipment, capacity and relevant experience for this type of work, at this volume and cadence?
- 03
Documentation
Which records the job needs — specification sheets, certificates of analysis, material, origin or food-safety documentation — and whether the partner can provide them.
- 04
Sample validation
Where the job calls for it, samples or pre-production pieces are checked against your specification and approved by you before production.
- 05
Commercial feasibility
Whether quantities, minimums, pricing and terms can work for both your program and the partner.
- 06
Lead time
Realistic timing from sampling through production, confirmed with the partner rather than assumed.
- 07
Logistics
Packaging, shipping method, destination, any import requirements and how repeat orders would flow.
06Also available
Supporting services, assessed with the requirement.
- Custom production
- Private-label packaging, filling or kitting around an ingredient program can be assessed as a supporting service.
- Specialty and adjacent ingredients
- Specialty chemicals and other adjacent requirements are reviewed case by case once the commercial scope is clear. We will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.
07Start a sourcing request
Bring us the requirement.
Share the application, grade, specification and volumes you know. The category is preselected for oils and ingredients; change it if your requirement fits elsewhere.
Helpful, not required
